We went to the game which ended up going into extra innings. SO it was a late night for the players. We went to the hotel afterwards to try to get some autographs. It was about 11:30 when the team bus pulled up. A lot of the guys had come back in cabs though. They were all in pretty bad moods and no one was signing any autographs. Only a few of the guys ended up going out that night. Freddy not included. He usually doesn't go out the night before he pitches. Joel went out and so did Boone. We got Joel to autograph one of his jersey's for us. Scott Spezio and Rich Aurilia went out too. They met up with these 2 hoochie girls. We saw them at the game cuz they were sitting a few rows in front of us. You couldn't help but notice them cuz of thier outfts. The one girls pants were so low her ass was practically hanging out. So the night wasn't that exciting. We stayed there until about 2:15am cuz we were waiting for Ichiro to come back. There are some local restaurants he likes to go to. So he finally came back and we got his autograph. I tried to take his picture but he said to me "No pictures please".

We decided to go to the hotel in the afternoon today. Good thing we did. Keep reading and you'll find out why. We got there about 11:30am. Most of the guys came and went during the day. Including Freddy. We got just about everyone's autograph, including Spezio, Aurilia, Franklin, Wilson, and Ibanez. We got Boone's later that night. We were standing there and some girl come walking up by us and says "Hey, Edgar Martinez is shopping in Sam Goody". That's a music store. So we decided to go hunt him down. We found him and got his autograph too. We had some game used batting gloves he signed for us. He was kinda pissed or something when we asked him. He was like "ugh". OH WELL! So at about 1:00pm, Freddy finally comes walking out with Julio Mateo. There was a couple people who wanted Freddy's autograph but he wasn't signing. I was calling his name but he never turned around to look.The other guys that were there were like "oh, he won't sign today cuz he's piching tonight." So I figured I'd wait for him to come back. My boyfriend wanted me to chase him down the street but I didn't wanna act like a total psycho stalker. :) I knew he'd come back eventually. About an hour later I see Freddy and Julio coming back down the street on the other side. They walked past the hotel and went into Foot Locker. I don't know who was looking for shoes. They were in there for maybe 2 minutes and came right back out. They crossed the street and he had no choice but to walk right by me. I have this Pepsi can that is from Venezuela. It has his picture on it and says a bunch of stuff in Spanish. So I was holding it out for him to sign. He stopped and signed it for me. I think cuz he saw it and it was something not too many people here have. He said something to Julio in Spanish. Something like, "blah, blah, blah.....Venezuela". So he was saying something about the can being from there. I really wish I knew Spanish. He even signed his number on there too. I've never gotten his autograph like that before but have seen it like that. I was so excited. He didn't sign for anyone else!! I saw him again inside the hotel. I had to go to the bathroom and took the elevator up. You have to go to the 5th floor and then take other elevators to get to the rooms. So I came out of the bathroom and was waiting for the elevator to go back down. It opened up and guess who walked out? Freddy and Julio!! Freddy had 2 shopping bags from this store called Twinstown. I didn't say anything but Julio said some in spanish to Freddy and they both turned around and looked at me. I just smiled back. I got in the elevator and it smelled SO good in there. I don't know which one was bathed in cologne but OH MY GOD! It was like heaven. It smelled So good. We just saw him again when he went to the game. He left with Joel and Julio. They took a cab instead of the team bus. After the game he came off the bus and went right in the hotel. I thought for sure he'd be going out that night but he never did come out. Joel went out though. The game the next day was early so I think most of the guys just went to bed. Ichiro didn't even go out. He came back in a cab and about 5 minutes later his friends had brought him takeout from the Japanese restaurant. Freddy came back on the bus. He had a bag from the grocery store. So I think he had some food too. He must've went right to bed though. Before we left we decided to go up to the hotel bar and have a drink. Boone was up there sitting at the bar. He was with some older guys. I have no idea who hey were. He was drinking a Bud Light. So now I can say I had a drink with Boone. Haha.

 

 

I went to the game by myself since it was at Noon. I didn't go to the hotel in the morning cuz it was way too early. I didn't get much sleep those couple of days. I only got to see Freddy during batting practice and when he walked in to the dugout. I got some good pics of Joel when he was doing some warm-up pitching in the bullpen. I have to get those pics developed yet.
